The Shins are an indie pop group consisting of singer and guitarist James Russell Mercer, keyboardist/guitarist Martin Crandall, bassist Dave Hernandez, and drummer Jesse Sandoval. They formed in 1997, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a side project of Mercer.

it is hard to describe how i feel about the cover of the album,
kind of weird,i guess,
it even makes me feel a littel uncofortable .
Frankly,i dont like the cover at all.
but the music ,mixed with indie rock and indie pop ,which the shins show us is really fantastic.
the vocal,James Mercer,also sounds chipper,lightful,slothful,clear.
anyway ,it gonna be one of my favourite ablums.
and i think it will be yours too.
